We pride ourselves on the home-like setting we’ve created here at the Wellshire. Our one and two bedroom private and semi-private apartments are light and spacious.
You don’t have to worry about doing the housekeeping or the laundry. We handle that, and the utilities, telephone and basic cable. Have a computer? You’ve got internet access. Need to use one of ours, no problem.
Like with our Assisted Living, the whole idea here is to focus on your abilities, not your disabilities. So you’ll have almost 200 Life Enrichment Programs every month to help keep you physically and mentally active as possible.
You’ll be treated to live music, books, dancing, cooking demonstrations, puzzles and movies, all sorts of things designed to stimulate your senses. Because who says therapy can’t be fun?
Everything we do is geared to the added level of care you need, Have a special diet? Our talented chefs will make sure those options are on the menu in our dining room. Or if you just have a taste for something special, let us know. We try to make every meal here a celebration.

AMENITIES
The Reserve at Balfour is situated within the Balfour Retirement Community and is specifically designed to serve people with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and advanced memory care issues. Our philosophy focuses on an optimal level of self-care and independence for each resident. Programs consist of structured activities based on the needs and abilities of resident’s various levels of functioning.
The Balfour staff is specially trained to work in an interdisciplinary fashion providing nursing care and therapeutic programs, including rehabilitation services with therapists trained in caring for the memory impaired.
