When my mom came to Balfour Retirement Community’s assisted living community she was quite an independent person—she’s now 100 years old and has transitioned to Balfour’s Wellshire skilled nursing community where she receives more advanced care. It was, in all respects, a smooth transition as she knew the staff and could visit her friends and participate in the same activities she enjoys.
I am a retired nurse and am very impressed and confident with the nursing care my mom receives. It is easy for the family to be involved in and monitor her care. As a family we love the Sunday Brunches and the big spring, summer and holiday parties that include the grandchildren. Balfour is a great home for our mom!
