Family Resources at Balfour Cherrywood Village
At Balfour Cherrywood Village, we have a strong family support system. A full-time licensed Social Service Director spends time providing support to families and residents adjusting to a new living environment. They also assist families with understanding Medicare guidelines, insurance questions and advance directives.
A Chaplain is also on staff to offer non-denominational spiritual support, and works very closely with the Social Services Director in meeting our resident’s psychosocial needs. A full program of Bible study, prayer and meditation groups offer resident and family support. We’ve also compiled a library of information resources that contain useful information for families who are in the process of making life-care decisions or seeking to understand the complexities of memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
