About Elinda Dennis

Elinda Dennis – Executive Vice President and CFO, Balfour Senior Care
Elinda Dennis joined Balfour’s executive management team in January 2004. As Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, she is responsible for all finance related aspects of the company, including fiscal operations at Balfour Senior Care, LLC, Balfour Retirement Community, Balfour Cherrywood Village, the Lodge at Balfour, and The Residences at Balfour. Elinda also oversees facilities management and human resources at each of the Balfour properties.
Elinda has extensive experience in financial management, business accounting, and human resources. Prior to joining Balfour, Elinda worked in the high-tech industry as an accounting manager for CQG, Inc., senior accountant/office manger and human resources manager for Athene Software, Inc., and senior accountant at Coral Systems, Inc. She has also worked as a staff accountant and corporate administrator where she was directly responsible for investor relations, employee relations, and financial statement preparation. Elinda found Balfour a good match for her skills and interests. She enjoys working at Balfour and interacts with the residents on both a professional and personal basis. She and her staff help residents with their bills, keeping their accounts straight and discussing any payment issues they may be having. On occasion she has participated in activities at Balfour and enjoys singing for the residents.
Elinda received a bachelor’s degree in business/accounting from the University of Phoenix, where she graduated with honors. She has completed additional training programs in accounting, software, payroll, employee relations, property development, and property reporting.
